Located in beautiful Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Embrace is one church, made up of multiple campuses and network churches. They exist to relentlessly reach the next person for Jesus.
This crucial role includes weekly worship leadership, nurturing relationships with musicians, and contributing significantly to our mission of relentlessly reaching the next person for Jesus. The ideal candidate will have a zeal for leading worship, a knack for building relationships, and a talent for developing musicians. Key skills for this position include effective communication, the ability to mentor others, and proficiency in band leadership. This role reports directly to the Central Worship Director.
We exist to relentlessly reach the next person for Jesus.
Who is EMBRACE?
Embrace is one church, made up of multiple campuses and network churches. We exist to relentlessly reach the next person for Jesus. We do that through our four values: Encounter, Compassion, Embrace, and Run. No matter who you are, you belong here.
On September 4th, 2006, a group of 32 people got together for a worship service. Sioux Falls, South Dakota had many churches, but there was a growing interest for a new kind of church as the city grew. Adam Weber was going into his final year of seminary and reluctantly agreed to help with this gathering once a month. After that first service in September, we had no clue what the future held (or what we were doing!), but we sensed God asking us to follow Him.
That group would end up becoming what is now Embrace Church. Shortly after those 32 people met, small groups started meeting in homes around town and we gathered for worship once a month, seeing new faces each time. Our vision from the very beginning: to relentlessly reach the next person for Jesus.
We do that by encountering God, reaching people with compassion, being embraced by God, and then running to those around us. The Sioux Falls area is one of the fastest growing cities in America. By 2031, we hope to reach 5% of Sioux Falls and the surrounding area for Jesus. That 5% would be 12,500 souls for Jesus. We don’t know all of what this will look like, but we do know that we’re committed to what God has placed in front of us and to doing everything we can to relentlessly reach the next person for Jesus.
