Who is Christian Life?
Christian Life started in 1994 as a home Bible Study. Later that year with a young 24 year old pastor they held their first public service at Lakewood Elementary School. After leasing different spaces during a decade of growth, they moved onto their current campus in 2005 with a sanctuary that seats 400+.
Christian Life Church is a family of believers from various backgrounds who live in relationship with the heavenly Father and each other. Together their pursuit is to grow in relationship with the Father and to share His love with everyone they meet.
Christian Life provides ministry on their beautiful campus for kids, newborn through 6th grade with an average of 40 children each Sunday. Wednesday night programs for newborn through 6th grade offer Awana for the girls and Royal Rangers for the boys. The youth group is 7th through 12th grade and averages 15 teens. In addition to adult Bible studies on Wednesdays there are small groups that meet on a weekly basis in various homes. Christian Life is affiliated with the Assemblies of God.
The Lead Pastor is responsible for the overall health and direction of Christian Life. In accordance with the purpose, vision and constitution of the church, the pastor leads with the Deacon Board to implement our mission of Jesus Christ, to know Him intimately; to grow in Him continually; to show Him boldly and to love Him fully.
Key Responsibilities
Pastoral Care - Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care to the congregation, fostering a culture of faith, love, and service. Provide care and counseling to those in need during times of crisis.
Teaching - Communicate engaging, biblically-based sermons that promote discipleship and evangelism. Plan meaningful and spiritually enriching services in collaboration with ministry leaders and the worship team.
Leadership - Work with church leadership and staff to establish and execute a vision and strategic plan for the church’s growth and leadership development. Oversee the administration and management of church operations, including budgeting, financial planning, and personnel management in the church office. Mentor, supervise, and support church staff and volunteers, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment with robust leadership development.
Spiritual Formation & Outreach - Facilitate and encourage spiritual growth and discipleship through the development and implementation of small group ministries, Bible studies, and other educational programs. Engage and build relationships within the local community, participate in outreach and mission activities, and collaborate with other organizations to address community needs.
Officiate - Perform pastoral duties including weddings, funerals, baptisms, dedications, and other public service events.

Requirements
The Lead Pastor will be a man of established and true character, qualified to preach and teach the Word of God, as prescribed in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. The Lead Pastor will perform his duties in accordance with the constitution and bylaws of this church.
Ministry Degree (or equivalent); Graduate Degree preferred
5+ years of senior leadership experience in ministry
Ministry Credentials or Ordination with recognized ministry body
